As of November 2009, ANI/Dr. Hunter is in network with BCBS TN (Netweorks P, S, C, Bluecare) and Novanet.
ANI is out-of-network with all other insurance carriers. This means that the patient must pay up front for services rendered, but we will still file the charge with their insurance company. The insurance company will then reimburse the patient for a partial amount of the original charge. Similarly, established patients with Medicare as their primary insurance pay the Medicare Limiting Charge to us and are reimbursed by Medicare.
